I am definitely ready for warmer weather!  We have been enjoying our time outdoors and taken the opportunity to do some simple, but fun things!  We took the kiddos to see their first movie.  They did sooo great and once the movie started my anxieties melted away.  We were also able to make a trip to Turkey Run state park.  The outdoors definitely relaxes me.  I’ve also been able to get quite a few runs in AND have even signed up for a 5k race for June 5th.  My head is swarming with potentials this spring/summer.  We are all heading to wrigley field for a few games in May.  Gooo CUBS!!!

I can hardly believe it was 87 degrees the other day!  I looove to get out there and do stuff.  It doesnt have to be some elaborate plan or anything, just keep me busy and outta trouble kinda stuff.

There is really so much to do Indiana. Yes, i just said that and i mean it.  I must say, I have it pretty easy right now, Four year olds are very easy to entertain.

I’ve been doing some research on places to see in Indiana and I’ve highlighted those that you may not know exist, I didn’t until I did my research.

There is also so much to do that can cost you very little.

• go to parks in neighboring towns and pack a snack or little picnic
• plant a little garden.  My kids and I planted fresh herbs last year.  they helped me care for them all summer.
• camp outside in your back yard.
• Be active.  Go on bike rides or walks together.
• schedule some fun play dates with other kiddos.
• go swimming
• go fishing
• Play in the rain and make mud pies!!!

I could really go on and on.  Keep the family active.  This is really a good time to put your TV in storage or maybe less harsh greatly limit tube time!  Also my kids and I love going to the local farmers market to pick out bright and fresh produce.  I really have such cool and creative kids we are always coming up with something to do.  Just make sure every one is safe this summer, wear sunscreen!!

Its spring break time, I really hope everyone is having a wonderful time!  Maybe you have had an opportunity to get rid of some of your STUFF and declutter.  That is great!  I still had to work, but i will have an opportunity to take some time off this summer.  I really look forward to all the possibilities.
